Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Efficiency Installer to travel to pre-scheduled appointments to install energy efficient equipment and products for residential and small commercial customers. The role includes explaining incentive programs and maintaining program awareness.

The position requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years of related technical experience, and 1–2 years of customer service or sales experience. Occasional weekend travel may be required. Valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC, or related technologies preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service/sales experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install energy efficient equipment and products following proper procedures.
• Provide professional appearance and represent the organization to clients.
• Ensure customer specifications and quality standards are met.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records.
• Learn program strategy and safety/regulations.
• Travel daily to pre-scheduled appointments and work in teams to improve operations.
