Job summary

Franklin Energy in North Carolina is seeking a field-based energy efficiency professional to install and promote energy-saving products for homeowners and commercial customers. You will coordinate program delivery, conduct site assessments, and support the rebate process while balancing field visits with office work.

You will build relationships with customers, explain HVAC, lighting and insulation improvements, and document opportunities for energy savings. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years in electric or natural gas utility industry or related field.
• Energy efficiency experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote the energy efficiency program to customers and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy saving targets.
• Develop and deliver presentations to raise awareness of the program.
• Respond to inquiries and move projects toward completion.
• Collaborate with Energy Engineers and document opportunities for energy savings.
