Job summary

Franklin Energy / AM Conservation seeks a field-based energy efficiency advocate to install products and promote programs for homeowners, landlords and building managers. You will support clients with energy-saving recommendations and coordinate with utility partners on site and in office settings.

The role blends field visits with data entry and presentations, requiring strong communication, organization and customer-service skills and a willingness to travel up to 50% in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years in electric or natural gas utility, facilities management, HVAC design, or related.
• Energy efficiency and/or energy modeling experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales, or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Install energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers.
• Make outbound calls to meet energy savings targets.
• Lead presentations promoting energy efficiency.
• Assist customers with rebate applications.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
• Maintain data in spreadsheets and databases.
• Collaborate with Energy Engineers as required.
