Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field-based energy efficiency specialist to install and promote energy-saving products for homeowners, landlords and utility customers. You will balance on-site work with office tasks, delivering presentations, answering inquiries and coordinating program activities to drive efficiency projects forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in electric or natural gas utility industry, facilities management, HVAC design/sales, or related fields.
• Experience in energy efficiency or energy modeling is preferred.
• Customer service, sales, or marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote the energy efficiency program to customers, trade allies and program stakeholders within your territory.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy saving targets and initiate new business with new customers.
• Develop and deliver presentations to create awareness about the program.
• Assist Program Manager in training new team members and lead presentations promoting energy efficiency.
