Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Advisor to deliver energy efficiency solutions to homeowners, landlords and utility customers. The role blends fieldwork (3 days) with office work (2 days) per week, coordinating trade partners and guiding customers through incentive measures.

You will discuss lighting, HVAC, hot water, insulation and air sealing, and support clients through rebates. Travel up to 50% may be required, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; technical school acceptable with relevant utility experience.
• 3–5 years in electric or natural gas utility, facilities management, HVAC design, or related areas.
• Experience managing staff and performing proactive customer outreach.
• 2–3 years of energy efficiency and/or energy modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers, trade allies and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls to meet energy-saving targets and initiate new business.
• Lead on-site and virtual presentations to raise program awareness.
• Assist with rebate applications and energy-saving product installations.
• Enter data into spreadsheets/databases to track savings and manage projects.
