Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Advisor to provide energy efficiency guidance to homeowners, landlords and utility customers. The role combines field work with office time to coordinate program delivery and help customers navigate rebates and incentives.

Responsibilities include promoting energy efficiency, performing on-site assessments, guiding customers through the incentive process, and collaborating with trade allies and program managers to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years in electric/natural gas utility, facilities management, HVAC design or related fields.
• 2–3 years in energy efficiency and/or energy modeling.
• Previous customer service, sales, or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements and promote energy efficiency programs.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy saving targets.
• Initiate new business with new customers via B2B efforts.
• Lead presentations promoting energy efficiency programs for targeted groups.
• Assist customers through the rebate application process.
