Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field-based energy efficiency specialist to work with homeowners, landlords, building owners and utility customers. You will advise on program modifications and demonstrate the value of energy-saving solutions, combining field visits with office work.

The role emphasizes direct customer interaction, outbound sales activities, data entry, and coordination with energy engineers to track savings and progress across projects. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–2 years in electric/natural gas utility sector or related fields preferred.
• Experience in energy efficiency or energy modeling is a plus.
• Customer service, sales, or marketing experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote the energy efficiency program to customers and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls to meet energy saving targets and develop new business with customers.
• Coordinate data entry and reporting to track energy savings and project progress.
• Assist Program Manager in training new team members and lead presentations.
