Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation is seeking an Advocacy specialist to process CAA inquiries, coordinate payments, and update profiles within our community action framework. The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and collaboration with internal teams.

Candidates with a HS diploma, 2 years in social services or customer service, and Spanish language ability are preferred; bilingual capability enhances service delivery. Office-based with potential travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years in community action, social services or customer service.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
• Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval tasks.
• Experience with a Customer Information System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound CAA contacts, analyzing, evaluating and addressing agency requests.
• Resolve or coordinate the resolution of CAA requests and issues involving pledges, payments, CIS pledge alerts and coordination of service order activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments and business units to track and resolve agency payment activities.
• Update and maintain CAA profiles.
• Adhere to local and state CAA funding sources, rules and regulations; administer CAA agreements.
