Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking an IT Technician 5 to support the Endpoint Services unit within the Office of Information Technology. The role involves deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting university endpoints and peripherals, across campus and offsite locations.

Responsibilities include software deployment, hardware repair, and lifecycle management, with preferred experience in Intune, SCCM/JAMF, AD, and PowerShell scripting to improve deployment efficiency and

Qualifications

• Two years IT work experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of workstation hardware and software or equivalent combination.
• Valid Class C driver’s license or higher required at appointment and ongoing.
• Experience with Windows enterprise endpoint deployment and management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage endpoint devices across campus and offsite locations.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and lifecycle-manage computing devices and peripherals.
• Assist with imaging, configuration, and management processes for new endpoints.
