Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a TD SYNNEX subsidiary, seeks an experienced IT Helpdesk professional in Reno to provide end-user support, imaging, OS deployment, and hardware troubleshooting. The role requires hands-on work and collaboration with system and network teams.

You will handle tickets, repair tasks, and inventory management, with an emphasis on secure devices, network connectivity, and customer service excellence. The position offers flexible work arrangements and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-8+ years of experience in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience or A+ Certification.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of PC components.
• Ability to dismantle and re-assemble laptops and desktops.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP is a plus.
• Knowledge of Active Directory is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced, hands-on team environment.
• Must be able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform PC system imaging, deployment, OS installation and repair.
• Process Helpdesk tickets and provide end-user support.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware failures; identify network problems for desktops, laptops, printers, and IoT devices.
• Collaborate with System and Network Administrators to support deployments and upgrades.
• Manage and maintain inventory of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware.
