The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a Manager of IT Infrastructure Operations to lead the Office of Information Technology’s infrastructure teams. You will supervise server/system administrators and IT technicians, steer major infrastructure projects, and develop policies aligned with campus goals and regulatory standards.
Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure Operations, you will oversee data centers, enterprise hardware/software, and core campus services including VOIP,
Formación
- Progressively responsible experience in an enterprise, higher education or similarly complex IT environment, including leadership of technical staff, IT infrastructure operations and service delivery.
- Technical familiarity with enterprise infrastructure sufficient to evaluate recommendations, manage risk, and guide operational and strategic decisions.
Responsabilidades
- Lead technical projects and strategic IT planning.
- Plan server administration and unified communications.
- Supervise server/system administrators and IT technicians.
- Evaluate and improve IT infrastructure to meet campus needs.
- Develop policies aligned with university goals and regulatory standards.
