Job summary

Tyler Junior College in Texas seeks a System Administrator, Endpoint to provide on-campus support for end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system issues. This role ensures SLAs are met and delivers high-quality customer service while maintaining endpoint systems.

Duties include supporting campus computing resources, including virtual desktop infrastructure, AV support for events, and documentation in ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a computer-related discipline.
• One year of IT Service Desk or Field Technician experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow and IT support tools.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network, MTA, AWS) preferred.
• Willingness to pursue additional technology certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide PC hardware/software support.
• Troubleshoot end-user hardware/software and basic network issues.
• Assist clients with campus computing resources including VDI.
• Install, administer, and troubleshoot hardware/software and peripherals on-site and remotely.
• Schedule events requiring Media/IT support and provide AV hardware for instructional and special events on and off campus.
• Maintain call logs, document solutions, and knowledge base articles in ServiceNow.
• Use a variety of advanced tools to support remote locations.
• Provide professional customer care in a fast and efficient manner.
