SCA Health is hiring an Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy in San Diego. You will develop perioperative care plans, administer medications, and ensure safe anesthesia recovery while maintaining sterile technique. The role requires GI/OR experience and current RN licensure, with required certifications expected within 90 days of employment.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of GI, OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included within the facility scope within 90 days.
• GI nursing specialty certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Administer medications safely using the 8 rights of medication administration.
• Maintain endoscopy instruments and accessories in working order.
• Provide hand-off reports to teammates with accurate, concise information.
• Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia including moderate sedation and MAC.
• Apply infection prevention and aseptic techniques.
