Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of GI, OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Protect the patient from injury and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status post-anesthesia.
• Prepare endoscopy scopes and assist in quality and safety protocols.
• Provide patient education and family involvement in care.
