SCA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy to join our perioperative team. You will develop individualized plans of care, monitor anesthesia recovery, maintain endoscopy instruments, and coordinate care across GI, OR and other units.

Qualified candidates have a nursing degree from an accredited school, current state licensure, GI/OR/medical-surgical experience preferred, and active BLS/ACLS (and PALS if pediatric care is included). Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of GI, OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in GI Nursing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Protect the patient from injury and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Adhere to Universal Protocol and time-out policy; communicate patient status across care continuum.
• Administer medications safely using the 8 rights of medication administration.
• Maintain endoscopy instruments and accessories; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Manage patient recovery from anesthesia (moderate sedation and MAC) and monitor status.
• Provide education to patient and family about perioperative care and expected responses to the procedure.
• Transfer care as applicable; provide accurate hand-off reports; participate in team meetings and quality improvement.
