Job summary

ASM Research is seeking an End User Training Lead to oversee the organization’s training portfolio. You will design blended learning solutions, mentor trainers, and align learning objectives with federal IT goals, ensuring effective adoption of new tools and processes.

The role requires leading training strategy, managing travel, and coordinating with stakeholders while maintaining high standards of quality and security clearance compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Training, HR, or related field.
• 8+ years in training and development, including 4–6 years as a trainer on technical projects and 0–2+ years in a management/lead role.
• Experience designing, executing, and evaluating training programs for technical applications with needs assessment and curriculum development.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of trainers with coaching and performance focus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex concepts to varied users and write training materials.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities; manage extensive travel (40–75%).
• Current secret security clearance (active within past 24 months).

Responsibilities

• Govern the overall training strategy for mission-critical systems, including needs assessment and roadmaps.
• Design and oversee blended training programs to drive system adoption for diverse user groups.
• Mentor a team of trainers and manage trainer schedules and travel.
• Create and maintain training materials such as lesson plans, curricula, SOPs, guides, exercises, and job aids.
• Implement evaluation methods to measure training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with leaders, analysts, owners, and SMEs to plan deployments and conferences.
• Oversee travel planning and training logistics and review expense reports.
• Ensure quality and compliance by setting expectations and providing coaching.
