Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an End User Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support for approximately 30 users at their Maryland location. This role serves as the primary local IT resource, delivering exceptional customer service and technical support to end users while maintaining a reliable and efficient technology environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in desktop support, help desk, or end-user services.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Experience using a ticketing system and managing incidents through resolution.
• Hands-on device deployment, imaging, and hardware break/fix support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and conferencing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop and end-user support for onsite employees.
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents via the organization's ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, printer, mobile device, and peripheral issues.
• Perform break/fix support for laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and other end-user equipment.
• Provide both remote and hands-on technical support to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Image, configure, deploy, and refresh desktop and laptop systems according to company standards.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation setup, equipment provisioning, account support, and asset recovery.
