Zachary Piper Solutions in New Orleans, LA is hiring a Help Desk Specialist to join a large federal program. This full-time, onsite role provides end-user desktop support across Marine Corps installations worldwide and requires ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

You will support devices and software, including network gear, laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, Outlook/Office, and video teleconferencing.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT experience.
• Active Security+ certification.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user desktop support across Marine Corps installations worldwide.
• Support devices and technologies including network gear, laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, connectivity issues, OS issues, Outlook/Microsoft Office support, Video Teleconference (VTC).
• Conduct operations in support of the Enterprise Service Desk.
• Execute scripts and answer calls.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or escape technical issues.
• Open and close tickets.
• Correlate events and incidents for IT services management.
