Job summary

Zachery Piper Solutions in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide end-user IT support across a large enterprise DoD program. The role is night-shift with potential shift changes based on candidate preference, and requires the ability to meet service metrics.

You will troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices, manage tickets in a Service Desk, and collaborate with staff to resolve issues while maintaining security compliance and strict access controls.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• At least 1 year of IT support experience.
• IAT II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or higher-level equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and other network-connected equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, operating systems, Microsoft/Office applications, and VTC systems.
• Collaborate with employees and leadership to diagnose and resolve IT problems.
• Support daily operations of the Enterprise Service Desk.
• Manage service tickets, run scripts, answer incoming calls, and meet established service metrics.
