Job summary

The Southwest Florida Water Management District in Brooksville, FL, seeks an Information Technology Manager to lead a forward‑looking, responsive IT support function within the IT Bureau. You will directly oversee desktop support technicians and endpoint specialists, ensuring modern tools, training, and seamless support for about 630 District staff.

The role reports to the IT Bureau Chief and emphasizes end‑user experience, touchless automation, and lifecycle management using ITIL/ITSM

Qualifications

Masters degree in Information Technology or related field.
6+ years Information Technology experience with leadership.
4+ years supervisory experience in IT management.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on leadership to an agile support team of 8–12 desktop support technicians and endpoint specialists.
Collaborate across ITB to ensure seamless transitions of enterprise systems to end-users with zero business disruption.
Oversee lifecycle of PCs and mobile devices including provisioning, patching, and security compliance.
Drive digital workplace adoption with self-service knowledge bases and micro-trainings.
Apply ITIL/COBIT and ITSM practices to optimize operations and service delivery.
Monitor KPIs like SLA, first-contact resolution, and satisfaction scores.
