Job summary

Southwest Florida Water Management District seeks a Technology Enablement and Support Manager to lead a team delivering modern end-user support and digital workplace initiatives in a hybrid Florida work environment.

The role focuses on improving end-user experience, device lifecycle management, and automation through ITIL/ITSM practices, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across IT disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology or related field with 6+ years IT experience
• 4+ years supervisory experience in IT management
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to an agile support team of 8–12 desktop support technicians and endpoint specialists
• Collaborate across the IT Bureau to ensure smooth transitions of new enterprise systems and databases
• Oversee lifecycle of PCs and mobile devices including provisioning, patching, and security
• Drive digital workplace adoption with self-service knowledge bases and micro-trainings
• Streamline incident and request workflows using ITIL/COBIT/ITSM practices
• Monitor KPIs to improve service delivery and support operations
