Job summary
The Southwest Florida Water Management District is seeking a Technology Enablement and Support Manager to lead a responsive IT support function, ensuring District staff have modern tools and seamless help. The role reports to the IT Bureau Chief and emphasizes ITIL/ITSM practices, device lifecycle management, and digital workplace adoption.
The position is hybrid (on-site Brooksville, FL) with some remote work after training, requiring a valid Florida driver's license and a strong leadership
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Six years of Information Technology experience (equivalent combinations accepted).
- Four years of supervisory experience in IT management.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8–12 desktop support technicians and endpoint specialists.
- Ensure timely, high‑quality IT support across 630+ staff.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Infrastructure, App Dev & Data Architecture, and PMO sections to deploy enterprise systems with minimal user disruption.
- Oversee lifecycle of PCs and mobile devices, including provisioning and security compliance.
- Drive ITIL/ITSM driven improvements and measure SLA, first‑contact resolution, and user satisfaction.
