Job summary

The Kendall Group in Michigan is seeking an IT Support Manager to lead the IT Support team, manage end-user PC and network support, and ensure reliable operation of business systems across eight divisions.

You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software, respond to escalated tickets, manage inventory, and mentor IT Technicians, with a focus on improving user experience and aligning IT with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7 years end user technical support and helpdesk experience.
• Undergraduate degree, certification, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 products, Active Directory, Windows based PCs and laptops.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel for occasional weekends or off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Support team within the organization.
• Oversee end user IT support and improve end-user IT experience.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair PCs and laptops.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and connected devices.
• Respond to escalated helpdesk tickets requiring complex problem solving.
• Manage IT inventory and train IT Support Technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
