Job summary

ABB Inc. seeks an Order-to-Delivery Business Lead to own on-time, in-full delivery across demand, production, inventory, and shipment. You will co-own with an SAP solution lead, define priorities, and drive process changes as the founding leader of our first value stream.

You will report to the Vice President of IT and collaborate with a business sponsor in Installation Products. This remote role covers the US and Canada with travel to plants and the Cary, NC office, aligned to North American

Qualifications

• A degree in supply chain, engineering, business or a related field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing or distribution in planning, scheduling, inventory, fulfillment, order management or operations.
• You can follow an order from demand to shipment across plants and distribution centers, and say where it gets stuck.
• You have traced delivery misses with data, found the real cause, and made a fix that stuck.
• You use SAP hands-on in order fulfillment as a user, power user or process lead.
• Experience building your own data tools, such as analyses, dashboards, automations or AI workflows.
• You demonstrate curiosity, willingness to adjust, and openness to new information in the face of ambiguity.
• You demonstrate impact by sharing an outcome with a peer and building partnership rather than ownership boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own one business outcome: orders shipped complete on the committed date.
• Identify root causes of missed orders using data and fix fundamental issues.
• Set priorities for fixes, builds, or changes including stock allocation rules.
• Manage change across plants, distribution centers and system teams.
• Run short experiments (1–2 months) and validate what moves the number.
• Report results honestly to business leaders, including what isn’t working.
