Job summary

ABB is seeking an Order-to-Delivery Business Lead to own on-time, in-full delivery for a high-volume manufacturing business from demand to shipment. This remote role (US/Canada) reports to the VP of IT and partners with an SAP solution lead to drive value in the North American Installations Products division.

You will manage prioritization, drive cross-functional changes across plants and distribution, and run short experiments to move the number.

Qualifications

A degree in supply chain, engineering, business or a related field.
8+ years in manufacturing or distribution in planning, scheduling, inventory, fulfillment, order management or operations.
You can follow an order from demand to shipment across plants and distribution centers, and say where it gets stuck.
You have traced delivery misses with data, found the real cause, and made a fix that stuck.
Experience building your own data tools, such as analyses, dashboards, automations or AI workflows.

Responsibilities

Owning one business outcome: orders shipped complete on the committed date.
Finding root causes of missed orders using data and fixing causes rather than expediting symptoms.
Setting priorities: what gets fixed, built, switched off or replaced, including stock allocation.
Managing change across plants, distribution centers and system teams that do not report to you.
Running short experiments of one to two months, then keeping what moves the number.
Reporting results honestly to business leaders, including what is not working.
