Job summary

ABB is seeking an Order-to-Delivery Business Lead for a high-volume manufacturing value stream. You own on-time, in-full delivery end to end, from demand to shipment, co-owning with an SAP solution lead.

The role is remote across the US/Canada, with travel to plants, distribution centers, and Cary, NC. You will report to the VP of IT and partner closely with the Installation Products sponsor.

Qualifications

• A degree in supply chain, engineering, business or a related field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing or distribution in planning, scheduling, inventory, fulfillment, order management or operations, incl. 3+ years accountable for an op result.
• Able to follow an order from demand to shipment across plants and DCs.
• Traced delivery misses with data, found the real cause, and fixed it.
• You use SAP hands-on in order fulfillment.
• Experience building data tools, analyses, dashboards, automations or AI workflows.
• Demonstrates curiosity and adaptability in ambiguity.
• Shows impact by sharing outcomes with peers and building partnerships.
• Excellent communication across plant managers, sales, SAP teams.
• Authorized to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Own one business outcome: orders shipped complete on the committed date.
• Find root causes of missed orders using data and fix causes.
• Set priorities for fixes, builds, and changes to stock rules.
• Manage change across plants, DCs and system teams.
• Run short experiments (1–2 months) and keep what moves the number.
• Report results honestly to business leaders.
