Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support assigned customer accounts from order entry through delivery and issue resolution. The CSR will maintain relationships, review orders for accuracy, and coordinate with internal teams to expedite orders as needed.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and/or experience entering and processing customer orders in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to respond professionally to inquiries via email.
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts, competing priorities, deadlines, and a high volume of requests.
• Comfort learning and using computer systems (including WSM, EDI, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office) while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer needs and requests are addressed promptly and followed through to resolution.
• Enter and review customer orders for accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Handle customer communications by phone and email regarding order status, back orders, reorders, delivery issues, late shipments, and other account-related questions.
• Work closely with plant manufacturing liaisons and internal departments to obtain order status, communicate production or delivery updates, and coordinate expedited orders when necessary.
• Monitor open orders and customer requests, prioritize workload effectively, communicate proactively when assistance is needed, and ensure assigned work is completed accurately within expected timeframes.
