Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CHB Operations Associate to manage end-to-end customs brokerage for a portfolio of accounts, ensuring imports move compliantly and on time. You will work with customers, carriers, and government agencies to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes accuracy, detail orientation, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to optimize processes and documentation in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance
• 6–12 months of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or related operations (2+ years preferred)
• Strong understanding of import processes and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for assigned customers, providing updates and resolving inquiries
• Prepare and submit U.S. Customs entries and PGA filings per regulations
• Manage entry files aligned with KPIs, service standards, and documentation
• Coordinate clearance with freight forwarders, carriers, airlines, and CFS facilities
• Track shipments from arrival to delivery and address delays or risks
• Maintain accurate documentation and upload entry packages into systems
• Support billing, delivery orders, and operational reporting
• Collaborate with teams to ensure coverage and knowledge sharing during peak volumes
