Job summary

Amex GBT in the United States is seeking an Event Manager to plan and deliver end-to-end programs for a dedicated Experience Studio team, working with a producer on strategy, stakeholders, content, and budget.

You will lead onsite execution, manage budgets up to $500k, coordinate suppliers, attendee communications, and run multiple programs yearly with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Four or more years planning corporate meetings and events.
• Experience as onsite lead on ten or more programs a year.
• Independent management of program budgets up to $500,000.
• Strong knowledge of hotel and supplier contracts and cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver programs end to end with the producer.
• Maintain the program plan in client tools with clear owners and dates.
• Build and manage budgets up to $500,000 and reconcile final costs.
• Manage hotels, venues, transportation, F&B, and AV contracts and invoices.
• Coordinate registration, housing, and attendee communications.
• Lead onsite execution including staffing and run of show.
• Handle multiple programs at different stages and ensure timely closes.
• Prepare debriefs with recommendations.
• Keep planning files and supplier records complete for handoff.
• Raise risks early to producers with recommended actions.
