Amex GBT seeks an Event Manager to plan and deliver end-to-end programs for a dedicated Experience Studio team, coordinating with a producer and managing budgets and suppliers. You will lead onsite execution, handle registrations, housing, and attendee communications, and maintain program documentation for seamless handoffs.

The role requires at least four years of corporate meeting planning, onsite leadership on many programs annually, and strong familiarity with client environments and travel

Qualifikationen

• Four or more years planning corporate meetings and events.
• Experience as onsite lead on ten or more programs a year.
• Independent management of program budgets up to $500,000 with accurate forecasts.
• Knowledge of hotel and supplier contracts, banquet orders, and cost-driving details (attrition, minimums, overtime).
• Experience working inside a client-owned environment with enterprise tools.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver assigned programs end to end with the producer, from kickoff through onsite execution and close.
• Keep the program plan current in the client's project tools, with tasks, owners, and dates.
• Build and manage program budgets with the producer, independently up to $500,000 and alongside a Senior Event Manager on larger programs.
• Manage suppliers from contract terms through invoices within client procurement rules.
• Coordinate Attendee Experience Coordinators for registration and housing, and attendee communications.
• Lead onsite for programs, including staffing, run of show, and supplier management.
• Carry several programs at different stages and manage ten+ onsite events yearly.
• Close every program on time with final invoices and budget reconciliations.
• Maintain planning files, supplier records, and decision notes for smooth handoffs.
• Raise scope, budget, and timing risks early with recommendations.
