Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Wisconsin's Greenfield center is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse). You will determine donor eligibility, review medical history, perform physical exams and interpret laboratory tests under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

This role requires an active state license as EMT-Paramedic, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Must have current active license in the state of responsibility (EMT-Paramedic).
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview, and physical examination.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER as needed.
