BioLife Plasma Services in Greenfield, Wisconsin is hiring an Advanced EMT (Medical Support Specialist) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, manage donor safety, and assist under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

Qualifications

• Must have a current active EMT license in the applicable state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Satisfactorily complete FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER as needed.
