BioLife Plasma Services in Greenfield, Wisconsin is seeking an EMT-Intermediate to support plasma center operations as Medical Support Specialist. You will determine donor eligibility, conduct medical history interviews, perform physical exams, manage adverse events, review lab results and communicate unsuitable findings to donors, under physician guidance.

This role requires current EMT-Paramedic license, CPR/AED certification, and clinical experience.

Competenze

• EMT-Paramedic license current and active.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Mansioni

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview and physical examination.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs and center orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents per EHS guidance.
• Possibly act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
