Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations and donor care. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under physician guidance.

The role requires an EMT-Paramedic license, CPR/AED certification, and prior clinical experience, with a focus on compliance and quality in a plasma collection setting.

Qualifications

• EMT-Paramedic license currently active in the responsible state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate nursing program with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, history interview and physical exam.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Coordinate with Center Physician or Medical Affairs on medical/technical issues and donor safety.
