Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an Medical Support Specialist to apply EMT skills in donor safety and plasma collection settings. You will assess donors, determine eligibility, monitor reactions, and review lab results, under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, patient care, and collaboration with EHS and Medical Affairs. A nursing or EMT licensure plus CPR/AED certification is required, with two years in a clinical setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nursing program completion is required.
• Active EMT (any level) license or RN/LPN licensure in the state of responsibility.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and informed consent, medical history, and physical exam.
• Monitor donor reactions and review test results for donor safety.
• Support EHS and medical affairs guidance and provide center level support.
