Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in the United States is seeking an EMT-qualified Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations and ensure donor safety.

You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and respond to donor adverse events under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician. Join a team focused on quality, donor care, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT in the applicable state (EMT-B / EMT-A / EMT-I / EMT-P) or RN/LPN/LVN as required.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Manage donor adverse events and respond to medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support center physician and supervisor as needed for medical issues.
• Assist with vaccination programs and occupational health guidance as applicable.
