Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP seeks a Medical Support Specialist to ensure donor safety and assist plasma collection. You will determine donor eligibility, review laboratory results, and respond to adverse events under physician guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state EMT certification (EMT-B/A/I/P) or RN/LPN licensure as applicable.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and self-exclusion.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review lab results and notify donors of unsuitable findings.
• Collaborate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs on medical issues and donor safety.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health processes.
