Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and support plasma center operations. You will work under Center Manager guidance and healthcare supervision to ensure donor safety and high-quality plasma collection.

Ideal candidates will have EMT or nursing licensure in the respective state, CPR/AED certification, and clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and nursing program graduate with state requirements.
• Current EMT and nurse licensure in the state of responsibilities.
• Current CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and follow EHS guidance.
• Possibly serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
