Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an EMT-qualified Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, monitor safety, and support the plasma donation process. The role emphasizes predictable scheduling, meaningful donor interactions, and career growth within BioLife and Takeda.

You'll work under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance, ensuring compliance with plasma collection regulations, safety protocols, and donor communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-P) or RN/LPN in the responsible state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent and screening.
• Assess donor reactions and respond to medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance.
