BioLife Plasma Services is seeking Medical Support Specialists with EMT expertise to help determine donor eligibility, monitor safety, and support the plasma donation process. You will work under the Center Manager for operations and with the Center Physician for medical issues, ensuring donor care and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes clinical assessment, adverse event review, and collaboration with Medical Affairs to maintain high standards of donor safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current state EMT license in EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P; CPR/AED certification.
• FDA approved training and at least two years in a clinical/hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees where applicable.
• Manage incidents with occupational health/EHS guidance; participate as Pandemic Coordinator if authorized.
