BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, and review test results to ensure donor safety during plasma collection.

You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, supporting EHS programs and regulatory compliance while contributing to a meaningful life-saving mission for patients with rare diseases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program credential.
• Licensed/certified EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN, or RN.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state IV therapy requirements.
• Complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including medical history, informed consent, and screening.
• Assess donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex medical concerns to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage worker incidents with EHS guidance and occupational health input.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.

RN

High school diploma or equivalent

FDA BioLife Medical Support Specialist training

Two years clinical/hospital experience
