BioLife Plasma Services is seeking Medical Support Specialists to ensure donor safety and support plasma collection operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and respond to donor safety issues under physician guidance.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, FDA requirements, and collaboration with Medical Affairs and EHS. Candidates should have EMT licensure, nursing credentials, and CPR/AED certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nursing program education as applicable.
• Current EMT licenses: EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy where applicable.
• Complete FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Assess donor reactions and emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs as applicable.
• Manage occupational health incidents following EHS guidance.
