Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will assess donor eligibility, review test results, manage adverse events, and work under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

This role requires EMT licensure, CPR/AED, and clinical experience. You will collaborate with BioLife and Takeda teams to ensure donor safety, regulatory compliance, and patient-focused care across a fast-paced environment with

Qualifications

• EMT-certified or licensed as EMT-B/A/I/P in the responsible state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist is required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and physical exam.
• Manage donor adverse events and review test results.
• Coordinate with Center Manager/Physician for medical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs.
• Oversee occupational health/ER incidents and EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
