Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to assess donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety in a high-volume plasma center. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure compliant operations and donor well-being.

The role requires EMT licensure or RN/LPN credentials, CPR/AED certifications, and at least two years in a clinical setting. Takeda affiliation supports comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including nursing program graduate
• Current EMT licenses (EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, EMT-P) and RN/LPN licensure where applicable
• Current CPR and AED certifications
• Completing FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and history
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear findings
• Support vaccination programs for employees
• Manage occupational health incidents with EHS guidance
• Potentially serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized
