Qualifikationen

• State EMT licensure requirements (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfills state basic IV therapy requirements.
• FDA training completion for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Aufgaben

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, education, interviews, and physical examination.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance.
• Possibly act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
