Job summary

Falck is hiring a Scheduler to manage on-site shift scheduling for Orange and San Diego counties, including night and swing shifts. The role involves recording hours, coordinating schedules, and interacting with managers and EMS staff in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in scheduling or operations coordination preferred.
• On-site position in Orange or San Diego counties.

Responsibilities

• Design schedules for EMS employees to ensure all shifts are filled.
• Receive and process employee call outs.
• Audit penalty-pay requests.
• Coordinate vacation and unscheduled sick time for Ambulance & Falck operations.
• Maintain an electronic employee database for payroll and schedule information.
• Have authority to schedule and approve overtime as needed.
• Work with field employees, supervisors, and managers to coordinate schedules and payroll.
• Reports to the Scheduling Manager and may interact with Operations/Division Managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Director of Scheduling.
