Job summary

The Physician Affiliate Group of NY is seeking a Staff Scheduler responsible for managing staff schedules within correctional facilities. You will ensure that the facilities are adequately staffed, distribute overtime, and maintain scheduling policies.

This position requires an Associate degree, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of scheduling systems. Benefits include union membership and a 401(k) plan. The work schedule includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• An Associates degree is required; BA/BS preferred.
• Knowledge of scheduling systems utilized by healthcare facilities.
• Excellent clerical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Generates accurate schedules for medical and ancillary staff.
• Distributes overtime assignments in an equitable manner.
• Enforces rules and scheduling policies.
• Answers phones, maintains sick call log and pages staff as needed.
