Job summary

Falck is seeking a Scheduler to manage EMS employee schedules and related administrative tasks in Orange, CA. The role requires coordinating shifts, processing callouts, and ensuring coverage for Orange, LA, and San Diego counties. On-site position with night or swing shifts and weekend work.

Salary is hourly ($23–$25) with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) match, training, and PTO. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations
• High school diploma or GED required
• Background in scheduling, clerical work, or EMS operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Compile, compose and type memos, routine correspondence, and statistical reports.
• Design schedules for EMS employees ensuring all shifts are filled.
• Receive and process employee call outs and coordinate vacation & unscheduled sick time.
• Audit penalty-pay requests and manage overtime approvals to meet staffing requirements.
• Maintain an electronic employee database with payroll and scheduling information.
• Collaborate with field employees, supervisors and managers to coordinate schedules and payroll.
