Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative, scheduling, or supervisory experience in hospital, fire service, or emergency health care environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic scheduling systems/databases; strong communication and conflict-resolution skills; familiarity with WA labor rules or healthcare terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Shift and calendar management for 24/7 or rotational staff schedules.
  • Coordinate field crew calendars and track leave or overtime coverage.
  • Support EMS program chairs, directors, or fire chiefs with workflows, meetings, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate staff, rooms, and equipment for training labs, clinical shifts, or emergency readiness.
  • Monitor certification renewals and continuing education (OTEP) compliance under WA DOH guidelines.
