Job summary

Coryell Health in Gatesville, TX is seeking an EMS Supervisor to lead the Emergency Medical Services department, oversee personnel, ensure compliant, high‑quality patient care, and support daily operations.

This working leader role responds to emergencies, manages staffing and training, coordinates with hospital partners, conducts QA, ensures equipment readiness, and upholds HIPAA and EMS regulations while fostering teamwork and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Current Texas EMS certification/licensure appropriate to the position.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• NIMS/ICS training as required.
• supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EMS operations and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise EMS personnel and oversee patient care delivery.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and daily operations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide care within licensure scope.
• Coach staff and ensure adherence to EMS protocols and policies.
• Coordinate education, certifications, and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with hospitals, police, fire, and EMS partners.
• Participate in department meetings and performance improvement.
